Tougher Than Your Average Footballer!

We’re not one to throw shade on another sport (especially when we showed love to others literally yesterday), but… it is a bit silly when footballers throw themselves to the ground writhing in agony from the slightest tap in a tackle, right?

Step up cricket players – and let’s be honest, there’s a reason they need the protective gear! Cricket’s a brilliant game but it does still come with its dangers – the ball, after all, is rather hefty in weight and can cause some damage if not careful (how many times have we seen the ball knocking off of helmets, for example?).

It’s not a pleasant sight to see when it happens, but thanks to the protective wear more often than not the players are able to shake it off and get back up on their feet – now that’s a sportsperson!
